Know what your child is really learning in their Qur'an lessons
Between school, homework and busy evenings, it's hard to know how your child is getting on. With Rushd, they learn one-to-one with a skilled teacher, and a written report reaches your family account after every lesson.
You're never left wondering
Three things every Rushd family has, from the very first lesson.
A report after every lesson
Written by your child's own teacher: what they read, how it went, and what to practise next. No more guessing from a shrug.
Everything in your family account
Upcoming lessons, a reminder before each one, every report and every homework recording, all in one place, for all your children.
Homework in their own voice
Your child records their homework, and their teacher listens and replies, so small mistakes are caught early, in the days between lessons.
“Is it safe?” is the right first question
Our own private classroom
Lessons happen in Rushd's own online classroom, through a link sent only to your family.
Messages go through our team
Teachers don't message your child privately. Any message comes through our team, in your family account, where you can see it.
You're welcome to sit in
Sit beside your child during any lesson, or join from a second device with the same link.
Lesson audio is recorded
Audio only, for safety and quality. Teachers and other families can't access recordings, and you can ask us in writing not to record your child's lessons.
Our code of conductis published for every family to read. Any concern about a child's safety can be sent to safeguarding@rushdhub.net.

A gentle 30-minute lesson
One-to-one with a skilled teacher in Rushd's own online classroom. It starts from wherever your child is, and you're welcome to sit in.
A note afterwards
You receive a short written note on how it went and a suggested path. Then you decide, with no obligation.
Questions parents ask
My child doesn't speak Arabic. Can they still learn?
Yes. Your child doesn't need to speak Arabic to start reading the Qur'an properly; we begin with the letters, one sound at a time, at your child's pace, and understanding its meaning can grow along the way. Tell us when you book that your child learns best in English, and we'll take that into account when matching a teacher.
My child already goes to madrasah. Is this instead of it?
Not at all. Rushd sits alongside madrasah: one-to-one time at home that keeps what they learn at the mosque going, with a written report after each lesson so you can see how they're getting on.
Can my child have a female or a male teacher?
Yes. We have skilled female and male teachers. Tell us your preference when you book and we'll arrange the trial lesson with that in mind.
When are the lessons?
Lessons are at fixed times agreed with you, so they fit around school and family life. Tell us the days and times that suit you when you book, and we'll confirm what's available.
Is the trial lesson really free?
Yes. The trial lesson is 30 minutes and free, and booking it doesn't ask for any card or payment details. There's no commitment afterwards.
