Code of Conduct & Child Protection

1Our commitment

Student safety — especially children's — comes before any other consideration. This code applies to all teachers and staff of Rushd Platform, and to students and parents; it is an annex to our teacher contracts.

2Teacher–student boundaries

• ✓Teachers do not exchange any personal contact details with students (phone numbers, social media accounts, personal email).
• ✓All communication happens only through the platform's official channels: the lesson room, the platform's official WhatsApp number, and the parent.
• ✓Teachers are not added to family groups and do not contact a student outside the lesson except through the platform and with the parent's knowledge.
• ✓No meetings outside scheduled lessons, and no requests for photos or personal information unrelated to learning.

3Lesson, camera & appearance norms

• ✓Teachers keep a modest, appropriate appearance and a calm background suitable for teaching.
• ✓Young students should preferably join from a shared space at home, near a parent.
• ✓Respectful, kind language at all times; no physical or verbal punishment and no humiliation.
• ✓We do not currently record sessions, and no party may record or photograph a lesson.

4Student & parent commitments

• ✓Attend on time and give advance notice when needed (see the Refunds & Cancellation policy).
• ✓Respect the teacher and communicate through the platform's official channels.
• ✓Tell us immediately about any concern with a lesson or teacher.

5Reporting a child-safety concern

• ✓Send any concern or complaint about a child's safety to: info@rushdhub.net
• ✓It is treated as top priority (P1), and handling begins within one hour.
• ✓The platform may immediately suspend the teacher or account involved pending review.

6Breaches

Breaching this code may lead to account suspension or contract termination, with referral to the relevant authorities where appropriate.
